Bugün 13 Temmuz 2017 club ako otelde kaldım ve gerçekten otel odaları berbat havasız ve çatı katı olduğu için odada klima olmasına rağmen aşırı sıcak. Ayrıca klima o kadar eski ki kendini bile soğutmuyor üstelik bütün gece klimanın sesinden dolayı uyuyamadık. Her şeyi geçtim otel çalışanları hiç güler yüzlü değiller ve bir müşteriye nasıl davranılması gerektiğini bilmiyorlar. Ben ve arkadaşlarım bu durumdan çok şikayetçiyiz. Buraya bir yıldız bile fazla !

Прекрасное место, уютно как дома. Приветливый и отзывчивый персонал, помогут в любой проблеме. Очень вкусная кухня. Русские бывают редко и это не может не радовать. В этом городке все рядом, все в пешей доступности. Рекомендую остановиться, не пожалеете.

I will give you an honest and no holds barred review of the Club AKO but firstly read it in context, this is a ‘BUDGET’ establishment aimed at those who want an inexpensive 2/3 stars. The Ako is not competing with, and should not be compared with 4 or 5 star hotels or apartments. Another reviewer has used the phrase ‘it does what it says on the tin,’ well with some reservations I agree.My wife and I stayed at the AKO from 10/10 – 22/10/18 in room 204 (1 bed apt. 1st floor rear). We travelled with Jet2 and when one deducts the flight cost I doubt the owners of the AKO were paid much more than £10 per night by Jet2, so as I said, ‘budget.’We were met by Mehmet (manager) who gave us a warm welcome and had our bags taken to the apartment. Initial impressions were good, spacious lounge/kitchen (bed settee), reasonable size bathroom with large shower, and good size bedroom with 3 single beds. We thought the overall cleanliness was very good, the towels and bedding freshly laundered. However, it has to be said that all the bedding and towels were coming towards the ‘end of their days.’ They were perfectly clean, but very worn with visible stains. The fittings were adequate but as with the bedding, nearing the end of their life. There was a broken glass shade over the dressing table, and all the chrome fittings in the bathroom had long since lost any shine. There was a small flat screen tv, (English lang. Sky News, CNN, & DW News). A perfectly good (almost new) fridge, very limited kitchen utensils and cups. This was as much as we could see at the time of our arrival (1.30am).Next morning, we went onto the balcony, it was a reasonable size, had 2 very worn plastic chairs covered in paint and a clothes dryer for furniture. The view, ‘shock, horror,’ a piece of waste land used as a recycling centre by a scrap dealer. At any time, there were between 2 and 5 lorries/pickups in the process of being loaded with scrap metal and plastics by an army of men on bikes delivering the contents of refuse bins. I am not joking! please view the photos I have posted. Most of the apartments at the rear of the Ako have this view, so beware. My wife and I discussed what to do, as we only wanted the apartment as a base for sleeping, the balcony was only used as a clothes- drying area, so we did nothing. It would be remiss of me not to mention the potential impact this could have on many people. If you intend to use the balcony, you may want to insist on an apartment at the front of Club Ako. I am told the scrap yard has been in business for 2 years.Wi fi has to be paid for at the Ako and its 3 Lira a day per device. We paid the equivalent of approx. £8 for 2 devices for 10 days. Internet speed was around 4 mbps download and 3 mbps upload so pretty slow and not quick enough to stream. We hired one of the safes at reception for £3 per day, £30 for 10 days. Club Ako offers a currency changing service but contrary to a previous reviewer I believe the rate offered is pretty low. When the bank rate was 7.40 lira to the pound, Club Ako was offering 6.70 lira to the pound but 7.00 lira could be had almost anywhere even the local convenience store. A difference of 30 lira or £4.25 on £100.The swimming pool was clean and a reasonable size. There were plenty of sunbeds but that was in October. There is a bar and a restaurant eating area, but we only had a couple of drinks in the bar as we prefer to use other places. I was surprised by the bar prices, although cheap by UK standards, they were expensive for Marmaris. I cannot comment on the food as we didn’t eat at the Ako.To summarize the Club Ako is clean and basic holiday accommodation at an affordable price. It is self-catering, so the general daily upkeep is your responsibility, they changed the bedding twice in 10 days and towels every other day. Just don’t expect 4 stars for the price.The photos show the view from the balcony and the balcony chairs.

Arrived at the hotel at 3am and was told we were getting an apartment in stead of a studio we had booked already at £35 more. Told the manager that was unacceptable and he said he couldnt do anything till the next day we had to wait till 12pm the next day to get the room we had booked originally so we lost half a day of our holiday due to mismanagement of bookings .or as we saw it a early money grabAlso the room we got wasnt at all upto the standard our studio was it was damp and balcony door was hard to lock so we felt very insecure (see photo)Pros loverly clean apartmentsFoods greatStaff in the main our friendlyPool is clean and clearConswatch your bill tabs and use your head, pay as you go as accidents do happen here with their room tabs as we found out even though we paid our bills as we wentHaving said this we had a fantastic holiday and to be honest all the above were annoyances we could have done without.It was very clean and taking in mind the above its a nice place to use as a base and the turkish people were so welcoming.All in all enjoy your holiday and enjoy this family run hotel hes their to make money so just be prepared for that when you go

Well were do i start everything so expensive efes 22 lira n wen u find somewhere cheeper to eat n drink the staf wa rude n arrogant. Balcony never got cleaned in the 2 weeks we stayed ther toillet bin mever got emptied dog gets run over they try stitcj in in front ov guest then wi summet they knocked it out all guest thought it wa deed .after 5 days later the dog still ad a big hole in head n still bleeding if u want nightmare from hell then club ako is the place this place needs shuttin down .pay that bit extra n go some were else totally distgusing a few people came down wi food poisoning from ther as

Medewerkers zijn er bijna nooit (misschien omdat wij er einde van het hoogseizoen waren, en er dus bijna geen gasten waren), dus als we een vraag hadden moesten we vaak lang wachten. Ze doen verder wel hun best, al was hun Engels onverstaanbaar en konden ze ons ook nauwelijks begrijpen.Niet perfect schoon, maar goed genoeg. Het gebouw ziet er goed uit, van binnen & buiten. Ik vond het keukentje en de pannen wel vies.

Сам отель вполне ничего для своей цены, номера большие, с мини-кухней, балконом и т.д. Но все доп услуги платные - ключая интернет, довольно прохладно осенью + с горячей водой могут быть проблемы. Вид из номеров на стороне, противоположной входу мягко гвооря, кхм, странноват, но за свою цену - отель хорош. Завтраки - нормальные, за них тоже плюс.

Place was disgusting and unsafe power cuts every night shocking manner from staff currently in disputes with jet 2 to receive a full refund as it was this bad maids would selectively clean things and binned the only bank card we had with us we were left with no money after a long meeting with a jet 2 manager and several phone calls we were given a budget of 300tl (£50) between us to spend at the hotel on food and drinks while our family located a western union on checking out we were told we had a bar bill (which we didn’t) the woman Insisted we did so after another long wait on a phone call from a manager we were allowed to check outWe will never be back !Book on air bnb get a villa don’t think by booking with a travel agent u will be in safe hands if u book here u won’t be !
